at the opposite end of St.Gilgen is the village of Strobl

walking along the promenade at the side of the lake gives you a panoramic view of the whole lake. Linked to St. Wolfgang by a walking/cycle track you have a chance to take in spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding mountains

Summer tobogann track

Winter comes to summer in the form of a tobogann track open from April to October
enjoying the thrills and speed of racing down the aliminium tobogann track is a treat for the whole family

Parish church

The Parissh church of Strobl was built in 1761. In a baroque style it is one of the most picturesque churches in the lake Wolfgangsee area

Kleefeldhof wilde park

on the outskirts of the villge of Strobl is the Kleefeldhof wildlife park. Animals such as deers, goats, horses and rabbits are allowed to live in their natural habitat. A great place to visit for all the family

Abersee local museum

based in one of the oldest houses in the lake Wolfgangsee area is the local museum
the museum is full of historical artefacts that trace how the locals have lived for hundreds of years
